I run Abaqus 6.14.1 on Windows 10, with Intel Parallel Studio XE 2016 Update 3 Cluster Edition, and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate Edition SP1. I have tried quite a few so far and as a result went through series of installing and uninstalling various versions of Visual Studio and Intel Parallel Studio XE with the hope that one combination will work eventually. In brief, I have come across many ‘genuine’ guides on the internet as well as Youtube videos. It has been a very hectic and frustrating week in trying to link Fortran compiler to Abaqus.
